Helsingborg City

Skåne and Helsingborg – easy to reach

Skåne, in the far south of Sweden, has a well- developed infrastructure, which makes travelling to Helsingborg very easy. The town is a communications hub for both national and international road traffic, with the junction of the E4 and E6 European highways only a few kilometres from its centre. Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, is only about one hour away by rail or road. There is a frequent train service over the Öresund Bridge, providing a convenient link between Copenhagen and Helsingborg. The ferries between Helsingør (Elsinore) in Denmark and Helsingborg in Sweden provide a round-the-clock passenger and vehicle service. The Öresund Region enjoys increasing popularity and every year hosts a number of international events. The countryside in the area is outstanding and only minutes away from busy town life.

Helsingborg – everything on your doorstep

Helsingborg has all the advantages of a small town while being able to offer the wide variety of amenities expected of a large town. And you can reach just about everything on foot – hotels, restaurants, shops, entertainment, meeting halls and, not least, the sports centres, which are all within easy walking distance of each other. A bustling city centre, wonderful parks and sandy bathing beaches complete the picture. Thanks to the central location of the sports arenas and accommodation, time-consuming transportation is kept to a minimum.
